• Choose a story: Browse romance, fantasy, mystery and other fictional worlds, then step into a role.
• Use your own words: Talk to AI characters and describe your actions instead of only selecting preset dialogue options.
• Explore another life: Try Parallel Lives and see how a different beginning changes your fictional journey.
• Return to your experience: Continue your latest reading session from your profile.

Create characters and interactive stories

Create custom characters for roleplay and story creation. Set up a story, customize character portraits and wallpapers, publish your work, and manage it from the creator bookshelf. The bookshelf includes editing, sharing and story analytics.

Character visuals support AI-generated images as well as uploaded portraits and wallpapers. Interface and story-language availability can vary by content; recent story releases include versions in 20 languages.

Before you play

• Online experience: Ludio uses online AI services and requires an internet connection.
• Access and purchases: Account sign-in may be required for interactive and creator features. Membership and coin purchases are available within Ludio; a free app download does not mean unlimited free AI usage. Check the current in-app options before purchasing.
• AI disclosure: Characters and conversations are fictional. AI-generated responses can be inconsistent or inaccurate. AI is used for dialogue, supported visual-generation features and read-aloud audio.
• Content: Themes vary by story. Read each story's description before starting.
